Ernie Weiner was the legendary and beloved Executive Director of the American Jewish committee, a world War II veteran who dedicated his life not only to the Jewish community, but to like-minded individual and organizations worldwide.
The Tad Taube award is presented to a high school athlete with a high grade point average, outstanding athletic record and, like Tad Taube, the scholarship’s namesake is dedicated to the Jewish value of tzedakah.
